For those of you who were absent, please read on.

By Tuesday, please bring in a pre-writing activity for the sympathy/empathy/tolerance essay. In outline form, please identify your four topics (which will be your four body paragraphs) and the two quotes that you will use for each topic. In total, you will have eight quotes with page numbers. We will begin working on the essay on Tuesday.
